Skiing

Numerous ski resorts are just a short drive away and oer winter fun for both beginners and advanced skiers. Merano 2000 is certainly the most well-known ski area in the Merano region, but Schwemmalm in the Ultimo Valley and Pfelders in the back of Passeier Valley are also well worth a visit.

Ski Touring & Snowshoeing

Trade the ski lift for climbing skins, feel the deep silence of the resting mountains, and leave your own trail in the soft, powdery snow. Ski tours and snowshoe hikes oer a wide range of experiences. Throughout the winter season, the Passeier Tourist Association organizes weekly snowshoe hikes through the romantically snow-covered Hinterpasseier region.

Merano Christmas Market – Meraner Advent

From late November to early January, the entire town of Merano glows with Christmas magic thanks to the “Merano Christmas Market.” South Tyrolean specialties, handcrafted artworks big and small, and much more are oered in a reflective, romantic atmosphere. From our apartments, it’s just a 15-minute drive to the center of the spa town, and all destinations can also be easily reached by public transport.
